Confluence 2025 - The Power of Machine and Mind

Hillwoods Academy hosted Confluence 2025 on 2nd August 2025, an inter-school conference themed "The Power of Machine and Mind". The event began with a ceremonial lamp lighting and a warm welcome to the guest of honour . Ms. Mitli Dasgupta, who also conducted an engaging AI Workshop. A variety of online and offline competitions, exhibitions , and performance showcased student's creativity, critical thinking and innovation. The event concluded with result declarations celebrating collabrations and future.

ECO SEMINAR 2025

"The proper use of science is not to conquer nature but to live in it."

Hillwoods Academy celebrated an inspiring Eco seminar on 26 April 2025, reaffirming its commitment to sustainability. The event was graced by the chief guest, Dr. shymala K.Mani, along with eminent environmental experts. The programme featured lamp lighting , an invocation, release of the Eco newsletter, student pledge, documentary screening, cultral performances, workshops and competitions. Dr Mani's insightful address on eco-concious living left a strong impact. The seminar concluded with prize distribution and a vote of thanks.

Hillwoods Academy Model United Nations Conference (HAMUNC) 2025

“When young minds question the world, the world begins to shift.”

Hillwoods Academy proudly hosted the 12th edition of HAMUNC on 22–23 November 2025, reinforcing its commitment to global citizenship. The conference opened with a ceremonial lamp lighting, cultural performances, and an inspiring address by Chief Guest Mrs. Suneeta Trivedi, IPS. Eight UN committees engaged delegates in rigorous debate over two days. The closing ceremony featured an address by Shri Krishnamurthy Srinavasana, award distribution, and recognition of outstanding delegates. HAMUNC 2025 concluded as a celebration of diplomacy, leadership, and informed dialogue.

Independence Day Celebration

“May the tricolour always wave high, reminding us of our unity and strength.”

Hillwoods Academy celebrated the 79th Independence Day on 15 August 2025 with a patriotic and culturally enriching programme. The celebrations began with flag hoisting by the Director Ma’am, followed by a symbolic balloon release. Inspiring cultural performances by junior and senior students highlighted the sacrifices of freedom fighters and India’s journey post-Independence. A powerful poem recitation, documentary screening, and a heartfelt teachers’ performance added depth to the event. The programme concluded with inspiring addresses and a spirited chant of Jai Hind.

INTERNATIONAL YOGA DAY 2025 REPORT

International Yoga Day was observed at Hillwoods Academy on 21 June 2025 with enthusiasm and discipline. A morning yoga session was conducted from 6:30 a.m. to 7:45 a.m., aligned with the nationwide Yoga Sangam led by the Hon’ble Prime Minister. Students, teachers, and parents actively participated in performing yoga asanas and breathing exercises. Celebrated on the theme “Yoga for One Earth, One Health,” the programme reinforced the importance of holistic well-being and healthy living.

Investiture Ceremony 2025

“The greatest contribution of a leader is to make others leaders.”

Hillwoods Academy held its Investiture Ceremony on 29 April 2025, formally inducting the Prefectorial Board for the academic session 2025–26. The newly elected Student Council members took the oath of office and were conferred their badges of responsibility. Key positions, including Head Boy, Head Girl, School Prefect, and Sports Captains, were announced. The Principal and Director Ma’am encouraged the leaders to serve with integrity, responsibility, and dedication, reinforcing the school’s core values of leadership and service.
